Let people cover your inference bill
Your app burns tokens in public. Tab puts that number on the page (for example, “$47.20 spent on inference this week”) with tip buttons right under it. Tips go to your own Stripe account, minus a platform fee of 5% that falls to 1% as a month’s tips add up.
You run it from Claude Code or Cursor over MCP.
After sign-up, three steps
Patreon and Ko-fi ask supporters to fund “you.” Tab shows them what the money pays for: this week’s inference bill, as your provider reports it.
Make a tip jar
Install the MCP, then ask your agent for a tip jar with a monthly goal. It hands back a two-line embed.

A <div> where the card goes and one script tag: vanilla JS, under 15 kB gzipped, no framework. Give the div the card’s height (344px, 51px more with a goal; the MCP tells you which) and the page doesn’t shift when it loads. It reads your live burn from OpenRouter, Anthropic or OpenAI and matches the host page’s light or dark theme.

Supporters pay on Stripe Checkout. The tip, less the fee below, settles in your connected Stripe account and is recorded once.

5% of the first $1,000 a month. Less after that.
Marginal, like tax brackets: each rate applies only to the part of a month’s tips inside its band, counted from the tips recorded when a supporter starts checkout. The count resets on the 1st, UTC.

By default the supporter also covers Stripe’s processing fee, so the platform rate above is the only deduction from the tip (in the 1% band, a minimum that covers an international card adds about half a percent, plus a cent or two). If a supporter opts out, Stripe’s standard card fee comes out of that tip instead (plus the same minimum in the 1% band).

Your agent calls them with your MCP token, and each one sees only your own tip jars. Pause a jar or check this month’s tips without leaving the chat. Payouts, bank details and tax forms are in your Stripe Express dashboard, which Stripe hosts.
